Larry has 24 years in personal and corporate financial management (Accountant, City Manager, Vice President, CFO, Financial Advisor), with 11 of those years in the financial services industry.
In 2007, he was admitted to the Paladin Registry and awarded Paladin’s coveted Five Star quality designation, a recognition attained by top financial planners and advisors who embrace strong ethics and fiduciary status.
Larry earned a bachelor’s degree from Prairie Bible College in 1984, and then supplemented that with extensive coursework in business and management. Later, he challenged and passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® examinations and maintains licensing as a CFP® professional (Canada 2000-2007, US 2007-present). He also earned the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living™ (CASL®) designation to focus his knowledge and expertise on serving the unique needs of clients in the second half of life.
Aside from investment research and management, Larry's interests include classical guitar, grooving on the bass, theology, running, and science fiction. He and his wife have two adult children, a son-in-law who is a sergeant in the US Marine Corps, and two precious granddaughters.
