Financial Planning
Financial
planning has long
been misunderstood
and is frequently
confused with the
purchase of investment
or insurance products.
But financial planning
is simply the process
of determining how
you can meet life
goals through proper
management of your
financial resources.
Financial planning may cover any or all of the following areas. Addressing one or two of the areas is typically called modular planning, while covering all of these interrelated areas is referred to as comprehensive planning.
- Cash flow planning and budgeting
- Investment planning
- Retirement planning
- Income tax planning
- Risk management
- Estate planning
